Sun in Leo-Shine!

Welcome to Stardust Stereo. I am Parker McPhinney, your host, and as we say in astrology, “As above, so below”. So today we are going to be talking about Leo. The Sun has entered into the zodiac sign of Leo. Leo is all about playing and about being creative and about expressing yourself. I got to tell you a little secret; you weren’t born to just pay rent. No. You were born to express your full I AM. And where Leo rolls through your chart is the best place where you can express your creativity, your shinning energy, your ego self.

Today we are going to talk about the twelve zodiac signs, and where Leo would fall, which house Leo would fall as we go through the natural wheel, putting your Sun on your ascendant, or if you know your rising sign (same as Ascendant), which you’d have to know your birth time to know that. You can take your zodiac sign that is on your Ascendant (your rising sign) and apply where Leo is in your chart, through this expression I am going to give you now, these little tidbits of expression.

So first let’s talk a little bit about Leo. Leo is a fire sign; it rules the heart, the spine. It is all about shinning. It is about honoring your true inner voice, about discovering that voice during your life time and giving a full throttle expression to it.  Some people are naturally more expressive and not shy about exploring their creativity or their strengths in life. Other people need a little bit of a push to acknowledge that they even have strengths. And some people are in the middle of both of those two bookends. Between confidence and between lack of confidence. They have a little bit of confidence about some things, but they need to discover for themselves as they go through life, the areas that they can shine in, by exploring the possibilities.

So, let’s talk a little bit about how it feels when the Sun in the sky moves through your Leo house in your chart.

So if you’re born when the Sun was in Leo, you’re born with the characteristic of needing to have your expression acknowledged by others; your expression on how you show your ideas, your creative thought forms, and your expression of adding to the world through creation.  I would like to also say that one of the greatest forms of creations, the highest form of creation that truly exists is giving birth. Often it’s over looked; we think of creation as a painting, or a sculpture, or creating a hit song. But there are many ways in which we create. We create in the kitchen, we create when we organize the house, we can be creative about it. A mathematician is creative, an account is creative. Creativity is not limited to the arts per se. One factor that is very much linked to expressing the self and letting the natural impulse to create come to light, is to honor the gifts that you were naturally born with.  So Leo is naturally born with being able to stand in front of others and inspire them and very often we see performers on the stage that have a strong Leo influence in their chart. So, right now if you are born under the sign of Leo, the zodiac sign of Leo, or you have a Leo rising – Leo (sun) is going through the first house. So it is begging you to you get out there –of course six feet apart, and share your energy force with others. It is also this time when you can put the lens of focus a little bit more on yourself and look to see where you would like to maybe develop a new area of shinning, that you have not yet explored.

Virgo- Leo (Sun) falls in the twelfth house. If you have a Virgo rising or your Sun sign is in Virgo, look to the twelfth house, and that the place where we retreat. We go into our little comfortable cocoon.  We do a little bit of research on the areas that we are curious about. So, if you are hesitate to get out there and shine, now is an excellent time to do that footwork, and read that book, or do the research, or take the class and start to develop your creative instincts.

Libra- Leo (Sun) falls in your eleventh house of friends, hopes and long term wishes. Now would be the time to reach out to your friends. You can do this through ZOOM, through technology, through written longhand letters. Exploring and saying to others: “Hey, I like to create, you want to play together? Let’s figure out a way to play together in this Covid-19 time and take our ideas and allow for the greater good to benefit from them.

Scorpio- In Scorpio’s chart, Leo (Sun) falls in the tenth house. The tenth house is the house of mission in life, what are you passionate about? What gets your back up?  Back up as in strength and standing up to be counted. Now is the time to truly make a clear, blue-print plan of how you would like to further any mission in your life.  You can lead now with the ideas that you have, to go forth and change the world, if it be in your community or if it be on a larger scale on a global level or even if it’s a little bit hidden and you’re an assistant to someone who is a big leader, but your able to pass them the notes for ideas that you get in your own meditation time, as to how we can make the world a better place.

Sagittarius- Leo (Sun) falls in the ninth house, so absolutely this is the time to get out those books and plan where you’d like to travel, when we are able to travel. And if you live in European countries you probably have a little bit more freedom to do that, since right Americans are kind of……we got the cooties, you could say, nobody wants to be near us! So, make the plans of where you’d like to travel, if you’d like to take some classes in learning a new language, it’s an excellent time to do it. It is also a great time to look to the past of heroes, or priests or people in the religious community that you can look up to and set as your role model, follow their example so that you can shine too as those have shined to that you look up to from the past. Or even if they are living now, they don’t have to be from the past, the important key would be to look to the role models, male and female that- pull your heart open to rise and be like them.

Capricorn- Leo (Sun) falls in the eighth house and that’s the house of sex, death, taxes, and other people’s money. So this would be the time that you could research how you’re utilizing your money, maybe you could even start a little pinky bank and dropping a coin in that bank every other day, while the Sun moves through Leo. And when the Sun goes into Virgo, you can cash out that pinky bank and send it off to an organization that you believe in, that you want to be supportive of so that you actually become the patron of somebody else, and help them further something that makes their life shine. So you’re shinning too, because you’re shinning as a copartner in helping somebody create their dreams.

Aquarius- Leo (Sun) falls in the seventh house of partnerships, and that’s business and romantic. This is definitely the time to see who comes into your orb, that gets your attention and feed your partners and promote and also help them shine. As you shine they shine, and as they shine you shine. The seventh house also happens to have rulership over the public. So, as Aquarians might have some desire to be seen, but maybe have been a little shy about it, or not been completely clear on the way in which they’d like their projects to get out there, this would be a great time to link up with organizations that could further your creations being seen by putting them on a new website or locking hands with some smaller organization that takes the whole and- of many people, and presents that as a group, like a public show, or juried show, or entering any kind of contest that later has publicity added to them that reaches the public. So many things right now are done in virtual time, you know theatre is being done in virtual time, podcasts are really big, online is booming with ways in which you can be seen. So Aquarian, now is the time to truly get your voice, your actions, and your –what you have to say about life out there.

Pisces- Leo Sun falls in your sixth house of work, health, and everyday activates. It would be excellent for you to take more time with your own self-health care. Look at your diet, look to see how you can strength your heart with what you eat. See if maybe you maybe need to take up a yoga class to get that posture in order. Anything that allows you to become a stronger physical person. You might also like to give a little bonus to any of those people in your life that help run it smoother. People that do your yard work, people that help keep your house clean, anybody that helps your life be easier. If you have caretakers come to the home, drop them a flower – in some way to brighten their day.  The thing about Leo is, it’s about your own star shinning, but sometimes we get even more glow, when we help others further along their life path in a positive way.

Next sign- Aries- the Leo sun is going to be falling in your fifth house of creativity, romance and children. So this is the time to pay attention to all those three areas. And it’s the time to learn show and tell, and play games with the family, and be like a kid. You know I know we’re in lock down, I know everybody is depressed and they’re stressed out. They don’t know what’s going to happen next, and the economy is not looking so good. And congress can’t make up their mind whether or not want to help the AMERICAN PEOPLE, but you know, I think eventually they will. As we have to take it on ourselves to keep our energy up and our mood happy, Aries, you have a great plus with the Sun falling in your fifth house, because it will awaken your childlike nature.  And there are so many ways in which you can play. You can bring out those crayons and learn how to draw, you can plant in your garden and create beautiful things to grow, you can write your screenplay, you can sing in the shower. There a multitude of ways in which you can take that Leo energy and allow yourself to shine.

Taurus- the Leo sun falls in your fourth house, so definitely its time to make the house beautiful. And not just the external house that you live in, but the internal house as well.  So take those bubble baths and when you get out of the bubble bath maybe you might want to decide to paint a room a bring bright  fuchsia color, that will make you shine and make the house seem like a really fantastic place to be 24/7.

Gemini-Leo Sun falls in your third house. That’s the brother and sisters house that’s the community that is the house of how you think and the process of your thinking ways. It’s also a writing house, so Gemini, now’s the time to stand in front of that mirror and start your standup comedy routine. As you prepare it for the stage, either virtually or when we are free to go out and hug each other.  It’s also the time in which you can reach out and acknowledge brother and sister, and can acknowledge the people in your community. Help the neighbor, drop off some food for maybe somebody that maybe is elder and can’t get out there, or shouldn’t get out there too much. Multitude of ways to allow the Sun to shine it’s light on the verbal ways in which you can bring compassion and love to everybody in your community.

Cancer- the last of the twelve signs that we’re talking about; Cancer the Sun Sign of Leo falls in your second house. So this is the time to acknowledge your self-worth. Second house deals with how I make my money, what I do with my money and how I value myself. This is the time to look within yourself and really see the plus-plus things that you do to establish why you are here on Earth. And establishing why you’re here on Earth has everything to do with allowing the self and the heart to beat and shine fully. You know like I said, we’re not just here to pay the rent. And very often in life we tend to that if we’re a success economically that we’re not a success and this is not true. We are here to bring compassion and love, and help each other on the way. And Astrology shows us in multiple ways in how we can do this. And following the Sun around our chart and seeing what house it falls in, as I’ve just done helps you to actualize that Sun sign and bring it to a birth in yourself so that everybody can be joyful.
